- Are dogs allowed? Yes, they are allowed on the hiking trails according to park regulations. They are permitted at the Lodge and can stay in the rooms, but not on the beds. There are cats and dogs that live at the Lodge.
- Can I have a private unit? On weeknights, between Sunday and Thursday (holiday Sundays, excluded), you may have a private unit as a full service guests without an additional charge. On Friday and Saturday nights, to have a private unit, you must pay for at least 6 or have a party of 6 full service guests. As hostel or indoor camper, you would need to pay as a party of 12 on any night.
- Is there a rate difference between the cabins and lodge rooms? No, the rate is based on the type of service, not where you sleep.
- What is the difference between the two cabins and the two lodge rooms? The cabins are free-standing buildings with a screened porch facing the main lodge and a covered porch facing the creek. There are six double beds set up bunk bed style in each cabin. The lodge rooms are in the main building along with the dining room and manager's quarters. The rooms share a common screened porch that adjoins the dining room and has an open porch that runs along the back of the building. The rooms are side by side with separate entrances. The rooms have four double beds and four single beds each. They are slightly smaller than the cabins.
- When are the showers available? We try to get them open around April 1 and most years they are open through Thanksgiving. There is no heat in the bath-house, when the temperatures are below freezing for an extended period, they must be drained and closed.
- What is served for lunch? The lunch menu generally is: BBQ beef, baked beans, rolls, chips and salsa, cookies, coffee, hot chocolate and lemonade. Reservations are required.
- Can we have dinner or breakfast without spending the night? Yes, with advance reservations
