Rates for 2007

Charit Creek Lodge is open every day of the year with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. We hope the information provided below is helpful.

Accommodations
Units consists of 2 free standing cabins and 2 rooms in the main lodge. Each unit sleeps 12. The cabins have 6 double beds set up bunk bed style (double over a double). The lodge rooms have 4 double beds and 4 single beds set bunk bed style. All units have woodstoves for heat and kerosene lanterns for light as well as a table, chairs and a screened porch.

Full Service Guests
Rates for adults and children include overnight accommodations, bed linens, dinner the evening you arrive, and breakfast the next morning. There is a minimum of six people or $375 to reserve a private room for your party on Friday or Saturday night There is no minimum on other nights. Full service includes bedding (sheets, blankets, pillow and pillowcase), dinner the night you arrive and breakfast the next morning. Lunch on the full day is provided for guests staying more than one night.

Meals
Dinner and breakfast are served family style and are included in the full service rate. Day users of the recreation area, as well as overnight hostel and indoor camper guests may make reservations for breakfast, lunch* or dinner. Reservations must be made at least 7 days in advance. Eat-in lunch is served at 12:00 PM Eastern time. Prepayment is requested.
*Lunch is included in the full service rate for guests staying more than one night.

"Indoor Campers"
Indoor camping accommodations are available for a maximum of 12 guests per unit. We are not able to provide a private unit for less than 12 "indoor campers" This rate includes use of the showers (seasonal) and restroom facilities and use of the common area except during full service meal periods. Indoor Campers do not have kitchen access. Outdoor grills and sink are available. Campers must provide all utensils and cooking supplies, as no meals are provided. Due to the remoteness of our lodge, we regret that refrigeration is not available. Campers provide their own bedding.

Horses
We have stable facilities for 11 horses plus a corral.

Stall rental, including hay $7.00
Picket or "Tie-Out" rental, per horse, including hay $3.25

Payment Policy
Payment in full, including sales tax, is required to hold your reservation. If your reservation is made between the first and the 15th of the month, payment is due by the first of the following month. If your reservation is made between the 16th and the end of the month, payment is due by the 15th of the following month. Payment on reservations made less than 30 days before the arrival date is due when reservations are made.

Cancellation Policy
Much advance planning is necessary to ensure your comfort in such a remote location. If you must cancel your reservation, 15 days notice is required to guarantee a full refund of your payment. If you need to cancel with less than 15 days notice, still notify us as soon as possible. If we re-book your space(s) for that night, we will gladly return your payment. If we do not re-book your space(s), refunds on cancellations without 15 days notice cannot be made, regardless of the circumstances.

Charit Creek Lodge is an authorized National Park Service Concession. It is not permissible by any individual, company, church or organization to increase for profit the approved and published rates under any circumstances. Failure to comply with this notice will result in forfeiture of current reservations and future booking privileges.
